“Just as a picture is drawn by an artist, surroundings are created by the activities of the mind.”

In my opinion a good drawing should intrigue the mind with concepts of the bazaar. This quote is touching on the fact that drawings and art are supposed to make the mind really think and sometimes confuse the viewer because there are not used to the type of imagery they are seeing. I personally think that one of the best examples of this are the optical illusionist drawing of M.C. Escher. M.C. Escher is definitely one of my favorite artists. His drawings are all done with pure graphite pencils and are some of the best examples of illusionist drawings, which are great examples of mind simulating drawings.
