There isn't much transition between each hand gesture. They're all kind of from one type of gesture to another,not really showing the in between movements. The shading works in each to give a sense of the way the hand would actually be. The framing could've been done a bit better because some are off the page. Overall I think each works by themselves, but not so much as a whole.
The actual line of the hands are very successful, but it is lacking in gesture. Also the perspective in which you took the pictures distorts them awkwardly especially when viewing it in an animation. I think if you scanned them instead this would look a lot better. The drawings themselves are great though! The shading is light and soft, giving the hands a great three dimensional feel.
The understanding of the hand is really good but the animation seems to jump around and isn't a smooth transition.
